One of the hottest debates among housing economics these days isn’t the trajectory of home sales, mortgage rates, or home prices, but whether Millennials prefer to live in the city or in the suburbs.
Where do Millennials prefer to live?
- 66% in the suburbs
- 24% in rural areas
- 10% in a city center
Why do Millennials want to relocate?
- 81% want a home with three or more bedrooms which are hard to come by in city living
