Buyers who found their home online:
- In 2010, 13% of buyers found their home online.
- In 2011, 13% of buyers found their home online.
In 2012, 16% of buyers found their home online.- In 2013, 37% of buyers found their home online.
- In 2014, 39% of buyers found their home online. Out of that 39%, 91% of them used a mobile device to do so during their buying process!
What types of activities did they do?
- 78% looked for comparable prices.
- 45% searched for homes with their mobile device.
- 43% took photos of homes/amenities/neighborhoods.
- 42% researched a particular home.
- 41% searched websites with their mobile device.
- 39% communicated with their agent.
- 22% researched communities and neighborhoods.
