La Costa is a great place to live!

If you are thinking of moving down to San Diego but still want to have the luxury of keeping that country feel, check out La Costa.  You are very close to the ocean however there is still that country feel to it.

La Costa is a northern San Diego neighborhood made famous for the nationally acclaimed La Costa Resort and Spa, location of the annual Acura Classic tennis tournament and many more international events. La Costa is home to various upscale hillside housing communities, a top-ranked school district, and a few fine dining and entertainment establishments.

The Lawhead Team would like to share some reviews we’ve come across about the La Costa Resort and Spa.

This is best spa ever!  It’s beautiful and very relaxing.  The staff they have for massages and facials are wonderful.  Also, the staff at Kidtopia are really nice too and very flexible.  I had a spa appointment and needed to put my 4 year old in their camp for a half day because his preschool was closed for winter break.  The staff was extremely accommodating and let me enroll my son in the morning program so I could get a relaxing break at the spa.
Thank you La Costa — the happiest place in Southern CA!

If you need to relax and have “your self” time- this is where u need to be!!!! – Sean

La CostaLa Costa refers to both the upscale residential community in Carlsbad and the world-class golf and tennis resort and spa located in the center of the community. The community is located primarily south of Alga Road, east of El Camino Real, north of Olivenhain Road and west of the north-south portion of Rancho Santa Fe Road.  Under KSL’s ownership and management, the La Costa Resort and Spa completed a $50 million renovation in the Fall of 2011. In 2014 Omni Resorts purchased the La Costa Resort and Spa from KSL and features renovated rooms and suites, a redesigned Spa dedicated to the balance of nature, state-of-the-art event spaces and two redesigned 18-hole championship courses (Champions and Legends) offering a golf experience that lives up to the legend.  The resort has 6 swimming pools, 3 waterslides, 19 tennis courts and the famous Chopra Center operated by Dr. Deepak Chopra.

The Lawhead Team have been residents of La Costa since 1984 and are members at Omni’s The Club @ La Costa with full golf, tennis and spa privledges.  As a token of our appreciation for your willingness to browse our website and consider putting The Lawhead Team to work for you, if you or someone you refer to us is interested in becoming either a sports member or golf member at La Costa, we will assist in the initial introduction, help expedite the application process with the Membership Department and arrange for special pricing of the initial membership fee.

La Costa Greens is a residential development built on the hillsides east of the La Costa Resort’s Champions golf course.  Many homes have ocean and/or golf course views.  The homes are generally between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet in size.  The community has a pool, spa, gym, tot lot and two tennis courts.

La Costa Oaks is the second in the Villages of La Costa and is located east of Rancho Santa Fe Road at the end of La Costa Avenue.  It is a planned community with homes ranging in size from 3,000 to 5,000 square feet that were built between 2003 and 2006.  Residents enjoy a community center and two pools.

La Costa Ridge is the final phase of the Villages of La Costa and was created by shaving the entire top of a local mountain which enabled the construction of large ocean-view homes in this upscale gated community.  Residents are served by the La Costa Meadows Elementary School, the newer San Elijo Hills Middle School and the newly-renovated, award-winning San Marcos High School.
